Through preventive maintenance, most problems are addressed before they even occur. We use sophisticated monitoring software which lets us know the status of our client’s systems at all times. Details such as software versions, patches, firmware, hardware status, CPU usage, disk usage, temperature and more are monitored 24×7. Alerts are sent to our team so that maintenance can be performed before there is a critical issue. There are times when equipment fails but we design systems and networks with redundancy so that most critical downtime is avoided.
Comparison to other IT solutions
A well implemented managed services plan offers the best of both worlds. A high level of service with a cost effective solution, compared to the alternatives. While an in-house IT department can be an effective solution, the costs of salaries and benefits are very expensive.
